Youth Workshop

Theatre Oxford will not be offering a Youth Workshop in Summer 2010, but we are planning one for summer 2011.

Instead we recommend that anyone interested in a summer theatre workshop consider auditioning for the Oxford Shakespeare Festival. Drs. Julia and Robert Aubrey will audition children from ages 8 – 13 for roles in the Oxford Shakespeare Festival’s production of The King and I.
     Auditions will be held from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm in Nutt Auditorium on Saturday, March 27. Please prepare a short song and be dressed comfortably to participate in music and theatre games. If needed, callbacks will start at 1:00 that afternoon.  There are two leading roles for boys ages 10 – 13 as Louis and the Prince.  These characters sing and have spoken dialogue in the musical.  Rehearsals will begin June 7 with final performances on June 24, June 26 and June 27 in the Ford Center.
