This agreement is a good faith agreement between Theatre Oxford and Partners to cooperate in making Theatre Oxford's season a success and recognizing the generosity of our Partners.
Theatre Oxford serves a community of diverse interests and needs. We welcome feedback from our partners, but Theatre Oxford retains full and sole discretion over selecting our season and artists. Acceptance of any contribution, gift, or grant is at the discretion of the Theatre Oxford.
Theatre Oxford will provide marketing for partners as listed on our website and partnership proposal document. Marketing may include some or all of the following (depending on the level of sponsorship and year): your logo on our website and marketing materials, recognition on our social media, stage mention at the start of shows, program ad or credit, complimentary tickets to each production, discounts on workshops, VIP invitations to gala events.
Partner or Partnering Company/Organization will provide funds or donations as promised, their sponsor logo in .png or PDF format, a boilerplate/description (max 100 words) for use in marketing.
Theatre Oxford is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Theatre Oxford refrains from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and encourages donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.
At Theatre Oxford's discretion, Theatre Oxford will accept donations of cash, publicly traded securities, or gifts of in-kind materials or services.
<p>Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Theatre Oxford. </p>
Theatre Oxford will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Theatre Oxford.
Theatre Oxford will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, Theatre Oxford will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.
Theatre Oxford will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Theatre Oxford.
